Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many recruiters will my CV go to?
A: Currently we expect your CV to go directly to the desks of more than 9500 active recruiters. Our Blast List is over 10000 but we always allow for a small percentage of delivery failures.
Q: Why do I get these e-mails with “Delivery Failure”?
A: During the CV Blast, you may receive automated messages with a subject line of " Delivery Failure" or “Unable to Deliver Message” or similar. This is when company firewalls block mass mail-shots or incorrectly tag our Blast as “Spam”. Companies can also change their addresses or perhaps the individual no longer works for the recruiter company. We constantly monitor our Blast List to reduce the frequency of failure messages but, as the nature of this business is very dynamic, changes are always possible.
Q: My job is not listed on your home page. Does this mean I can’t be Blasted?
A: It would be impossible to list every job because there are so many. We’ve listed some more on this page but even this isn’t complete. We have Blasted CVs for every type of job imaginable. Go ahead; surprise us…
Q: How safe are my personal details from identity theft?
A: Good question! Your personal details are stored on our encrypted database only for the duration of the Blast. On completion of the Blast, we guarantee to permanently delete your CV. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend that you do not have your home address or home telephone number on your CV. Hey, nobody mails anything job-related these days. If a recruiter wants an address, he can ask you for it directly.
Q: Why do you need an e-mail confirmation link?
A: For your security and protection, we need our customers to confirm their e-mail addresses, to allow us to send e-mail on your behalf. This activates an anti-spam security level to guarantee successful delivery of your CV to the recruiters. We work with AuthSMTP for delivery of e-mail messages, so you will receive a message from AuthSMTP Support <#> with a clickable link to confirm that you own the e-mail address from which to Blast your CV.
Q: What about recruiters that I would prefer not to get my CV?
A: Good point… if there are any recruiters that you’d rather not deal with, for example; there may be a recruiter who deals with your current employer, or one that you have had bad experiences with, all you need to do is let us know in advance and we’ll remove these from your individual Blast Profile.
